An international congress on carnosine will be held in Ghent. With 20 invited international speakers and a maximum of 130 participants. Keynote invited lectures of 30 minutes (no parallel sessions) will be scheduled and free communications from participants are invited as posters or selected by the organizing committee as 15-min oral presentations.

The congress will cover all aspects of carnosine, including the biochemical and physiological aspects of carnosine (and related dipeptides and amino acids), carnosinase and carnosine synthase, as well as the therapeutical, nutritional and sport applications of these molecules.
