Dear Colleagues,

It is a real pleasure to invite you to join us for the BVOT Spring Symposium 2012 entitled “Current issues in Trauma Care; A Primer for the Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon”, organised by the Belgian Society for Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (BVOT), the Belgian Orthopaedic Trainees Association (BOTRA) and the department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, section Traumatology of the K.U. Leuven.

This symposium is a collaboration between BVOT and the biennial symposium ‘Leuvense Traumadagen” and will take place at the Universiteitshallen in Leuven on Saturday, 24 March 2012.

Apart from a number of renowned international speakers, we have provided sufficient time in the programme for our residents and local national speakers.

Contrary to previous editions, your well evaluated presentations can not only be presented “ex cathedra” but also through videos. Posters will be available electronically as e-posters. Both will be on display on large interactive touch screens.

We hope to tease you with an exciting programme and to meeting you as an active participant in this BVOT Spring Symposium.
